Yéyo Tequila Blanco

Yéyo Tequila Blanco

Yéyo Tequila Blanco is a crisp, clean tequila with a hint of rich floral citrus agave notes. It is considered by many to be the epitome of perfection in flavor, with an elusive balance of pepper, sweetness, and spice. This makes it the perfect tequila to sip straight or mix in your favorite cocktail.

Yéyo is made with 100% family estate-grown agave that is sustainably farmed and free of pesticides and fertilizers. In addition, the tequila was produced at NOM 1414 by Master Distiller Sergio Cruz, who strongly emphasizes using the highest quality ingredients and a refined distilling process to achieve a superior taste. This commitment sets Yéyo apart from trendy spirits that may make a big splash but don’t deliver in terms of taste.

The process of making Yéyo starts with care for the earth. The agave plants are harvested only from a single estate, using no added pesticides or fertilizers. The agave is then slowly roasted for 53+ hours + 7 hours of prep and cooled down in traditional brick ovens to bring out exceptional flavor and sweetness. After fermenting for 190+ hours with the sweet serenade of Spanish classical music to relax the juice, it is double distilled in copper pot stills for a cleaner and crisper finish.

Yéyo is verified additive-free by Tequila Matchmaker and only uses three ingredients: mature agave, yeast, and deep well water. The result is a tequila that is smooth enough to sip and has a strong flavor profile to mix. In addition, it serves as a vivid and distinct base to pair and enjoy in any cocktail.

The Feliciano Vivanco (NOM 1414) family began cultivating highland agave during Mexico’s tumultuous post-revolutionary period of 1910-1929. In Don Feliciano’s hometown of Arandas, Jalisco, the next four generations of the Vivanco family remained devoted to expanding the family’s agave plantations, and in 1994 the family dream of acquiring their own Arandas distillery was finally realized with the purchase of the distillery El Ranchito. With approximately 2,000+ acres of estate-grown agave at their disposal, the Vivanco family has since become renowned for producing rich, well-balanced tequilas created by marrying honored distillation traditions with modern innovation.
